Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor – CSE role based at KCC Institute of Technology and Management in Greater Noida. The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate Computer Science and Engineering courses, prepare and deliver lectures, conduct tutorials and laboratory sessions, and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The role includes curriculum development, updating teaching materials, and integrating emerging technologies and industry practices into coursework.

The faculty member will guide students in academic projects, mentor them on career and research opportunities, and maintain accurate academic records. Responsibilities also include participation in departmental meetings, academic committees, research and publication activities, and contribution to institutional events and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline (M.Tech/M.E. required; Ph.D. or enrollment in a doctoral program preferred).
- Strong foundation in core CSE subjects such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and programming languages like C, Paython, Java etc.
- Experience or interest in emerging areas like AI/ML, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or software engineering methodologies.
- Demonstrated teaching aptitude, including lesson planning, classroom management, and effective use of instructional technologies.
- Ability to design and supervise laboratory work, student projects, and applied research activities.
- Good research orientation with willingness to publish in journals, present at conferences, and collaborate on funded projects.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Commitment to student success, academic integrity, and inclusive teaching practices that support diverse learner backgrounds.
- Comfort with using learning management systems, coding tools, and other digital platforms to enhance teaching and evaluation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and support institutional development.
