We are looking for a Cloud Support Engineer with strong GCP cloud expertise and backend debugging experience to support and troubleshoot infrastructure provisioning workflows. This role focuses on GCP IAM, security and access management, and analyzing Python-based provisioning and automation workflows used in UI-driven infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Support security and access management for cloud-based applications, infrastructure, and services, primarily on GCP
• Manage, configure, and maintain GCP IAM policies, roles, and permissions in line with security and compliance requirements
• Debug and analyze Python-based provisioning workflows and automation pipelines to identify issues and root causes
• Support and enhance automation of workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Monitor system health and performance; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve availability or reliability issues
• Collaborate closely with frontend, backend, and cloud engineering teams to resolve technical problems
• Maintain documentation for support processes, IAM configurations, provisioning flows, and troubleshooting guides
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, security, and reliability
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams
Tech Stack
• Cloud:
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Security & IAM: GCP IAM, service accounts, roles and permissions
• Backend:
Python (for debugging workflows and automation)
• APIs & Automation: REST APIs, provisioning workflows
• Databases: SQL (basic understanding)
• Tools:
Monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver / Cloud Logging)
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, especially IAM and security concepts
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure provisioning workflows
• Proficiency in Python for debugging backend workflows and automation scripts
• Solid understanding of cloud security, access control, and compliance best practices
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and automation pipelines
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend services
• Good documentation and communication skills
