As a Solution Engineer – Core Network (SDL / OneNDS) , you will play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge telecom solutions within 4G/5G environments. You will be responsible for designing, integrating, and validating core network elements with a strong focus on Subscriber Data Layer (SDL). This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strong collaboration skills to work with customers and internal teams.
In this role, you will:
Design and implement core network solutions, focusing on SDL / OneNDS
Execute end-to-end deployment activities, including installation, integration, and validation
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning during project phases
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation:
Low-Level Design (LLD)
Customer Integration Questionnaire (CIQ)
Detailed Network Design (DND)
Acceptance Test Plan (ATP)
Method of Procedure (MOP)
Support customer acceptance and testing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-domain integration solutions
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards
Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives
Your Profile
You are a highly skilled telecom professional with strong expertise in core network technologies and cloud-native environments.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in telecom software solution development or system integration
Mandatory hands-on expertise in Subscriber Data Layer (SDL / OneNDS)
Strong experience with cloud-native database solutions (SDL)
Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems
Knowledge of databases such as Aerospike, Maria
DB, Oracle, SQL
Strong understanding of networking protocols:
TCP/IP, Diameter, HTTP/2, SIP, SOAP/XML, SNMP
Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies:
VNF, CNF
VMware, Open Stack
Familiarity with Nokia ecosystem (CBIS, CBAM, NCS, NCOM)
Experience working on complex, multi-domain integration projects
Strong documentation and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automation tools for configuration generation
Exposure to core nodes such as HSS, HLR, PGW
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills (advanced English proficiency)
Customer-centric mindset with strong stakeholder management
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
