Position Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished Dev Ops Architect to join the Gedu Services Engineering Team in Noida. The ideal candidate will lead the design and evolution of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD ecosystem, and platform engineering practices across Web/Mobile/SaaS/Cloud products delivered in agile methodology. The person will set technical direction, define Dev Ops standards, and partner with engineering, security, and product leaders to accelerate delivery while improving reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the Dev Ops and cloud architecture roadmap aligned with business and engineering objectives.
Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on Azure (and/or AWS/GCP) including multi-environment, multi-region, and disaster recovery topologies.
Architect end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Hub Actions, and drive Git Ops and self-service platform engineering practices across teams.
Establish Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, including module design, state management, and policy enforcement across environments.
Design and govern Kubernetes and container platforms including networking, ingress, runtime security, and multi-tenancy.
Embed security across the SDLC by integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and secrets management into the delivery pipeline (Dev Sec Ops ).
Define monitoring, logging, and observability standards in partnership with SRE, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident response processes.
Drive measurable improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery (DORA metrics) across product teams.
Conduct architecture reviews, mentor Dev Ops engineers, and create reference architectures and golden paths for product teams to adopt.
Communicate technical strategy to stakeholders, partner with security and compliance teams, and ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational policies.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Architecting and automating end-to-end Dev Ops pipelines using Terraform and equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
6-10 years of progressive experience in Dev Ops, cloud, or platform engineering, including 2+ years in an architect or lead capacity.
BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent with strong relevant experience.
Deep, hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud provider (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP a strong plus).
Production experience with Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Hub Actions, and strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
Experience designing release strategies across Dev, QA, Staging, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod, and Disaster Recovery environments.
Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Power Shell, Bash, or Go, and solid grounding in Dev Sec Ops  practices, secrets management, and policy-as-code.

Experience with code branching, merging strategies, and release governance for distributed agile teams.
Proven experience defining observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Azure Monitor) and SLI/SLO frameworks.
Prior experience working with distributed agile scrum teams and influencing cross-functional engineering, security, and product stakeholders.
Proven track record handling release management, rollback, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning, with prior experience working with global clients.
Cloud or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, CKA/CKAD/CKS) are a strong plus.
