This role will focus on building, enhancing, and maintaining Power Apps and Power Automate workflows under established design patterns and governance frameworks. The engineer will work with global stakeholders across functions (HR, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, IT) to help automate processes, improve data quality, and support scalable digital solutions.
The role is well-suited to someone who enjoys hands-on build work, follows defined standards, and is developing their experience with enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Power Platform build & support
Build and enhance Power Apps (primarily Canvas apps, but also model-driven apps) based on defined requirements and designs.
Develop and maintain Power Automate cloud flows, including approvals and basic error handling.
Support end-to-end solutions combining apps, flows, SharePoint/Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 services.
Troubleshoot issues, fix defects, and support enhancements to existing apps and flows.
Automation & integration
Configure Power Automate workflows using standard connectors (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Dataverse).
Implement basic integrations with other systems using available connectors and predefined patterns.
Refactor existing flows to improve reliability and performance under guidance.
Standards, quality & documentation
Follow established Power Platform standards and governance guidance (environments, solutions, security).
Ensure solutions meet basic expectations for performance, data protection, and supportability.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation for apps and flows built.
Collaboration & continuous improvement
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into workable solutions.
Show curiosity for emerging Power Platform capabilities and tools (e.g., Vibe) and code-driven app development approaches, bringing ideas for where they can add value.
Collaborate with senior Power Platform resources on solution design and improvements.
Stay up to date with Power Platform features and apply learnings where appropriate.
This role is 100% remote.
Qualifications
Must have
Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
Experience building production apps or flows used by teams or departments.
Working knowledge of SharePoint lists and/or Dataverse as data sources.
Exposure to Dataverse data modeling and/or model-driven app concepts (tables, forms, views, security roles).
Basic experience with error handling and troubleshooting in Power Automate.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and follow defined delivery priorities.
Interest in learning new tools and approaches (e.g., Vibe and code-driven/pro-dev app patterns) alongside low-code delivery.

Awareness of code-first/pro-dev tooling for Power Platform (e.g., solutions/ALM practices, Power Platform CLI, VS Code) and willingness to adopt as the team matures.
Experience supporting users in different regions or time zones.
Personal attributes
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Comfortable working in a global, fast-moving environment.
Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
