We are looking for a Professional Services Sales Specialist (PSSi) with strong Japanese language capability to drive growth of Professional Services across Japanese
-speaking customers. This is a quota-carrying role focused on selling consulting, implementation, architecture, onboarding, and advisory services, while acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer's digital transformation journey. The role works closely with License Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams, and requires the ability to fluently engage Japanese
-native stakeholders at both executive and operational levels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
.Own and drive Professional Services sales for a defined set of Japanese
-speaking accounts.
. Build and execute account plans, manage opportunities, and maintain an accurate services pipeline.
. Identify, qualify, and close Professional Services engagements aligned to customer outcomes.
. Lead RFP/RFI responses, pricing, negotiations, contracting, and internal approval processes.
. Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual services booking targets.
Customer Relationship Management
. Establish trusted relationships with Japanese
-speaking customer stakeholders, including Clevel and senior decision-makers.
. Engage customers in Japanese language discussions to understand business objectives, transformation goals, and success metrics.
. Act as a strategic advisor, aligning services offerings with customer digital maturity and roadmap.
Collaboration Across Ecosystem
. Partner with License Sales, Solution Architects, Business Architects, and Delivery teams to co-create compelling proposals.
. Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery and remain engaged through project execution.
. Act as a point of escalation for customer concerns and collaborate with consulting leadership for resolution.
Customer Success & Growth
. Support successful delivery outcomes by aligning expectations and value realization. . Identify expansion, follow-on, and renewal opportunities within existing accounts. . Build long-term advocacy by showcasing successful project outcomes and ongoing value.
Required Skills & Experience
Language & Market Expertise
. JLPT N1 preferred N2 minimum. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Japanese from institutions such as JNU, DU, etc., are also in scope
. Ability to fluently converse with native Japanese speakers in professional and business settings.

Professional Experience
. 5-15 years of experience in Professional Services Sales, Technology Consulting Sales, or Enterprise Services Sales.
. Proven track record of quota achievement in a services or consulting-led sales role.
. Experience selling enterprise consulting services, including implementation and advisory engagements.
. Strong understanding of digital transformation, SaaS, cloud, digital marketing, CRM, or ecommerce ecosystems.
. Experience navigating global procurement processes and complex enterprise deal structures.
Core Competencies
. Strong account planning, pipeline management, and forecasting skills.
. Ability to structure and close moderate to complex services deals.
. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
. Comfortable working in a matrixed, global sales environment with distributed teams.
Education
. Bachelor's degree (required) . MBA or Master's degree in Business (preferred)
