Asset manager

Key Responsibilities
Identify, track, and manage IT service assets and configuration items (CIs) across their lifecycle
Maintain an accurate and updated asset register for all service-related assets
Ensure integrity and consistency of asset and configuration data across multiple systems
Manage complete asset lifecycle including requisition, procurement, installation, movement, upgrade, and disposal
Maintain ownership records and ensure availability of asset data for audits and reviews
Generate asset reports for internal and external systems including financial and internal billing platforms
Update asset records for all change management activities (IMACD: Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose)
Conduct periodic physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
Perform asset and configuration item reconciliation between asset databases and live systems
Prepare exception reports and monthly reconciliation reports for management review
Support break/fix, organizational changes, and service change management processes
