Job Description       

Position Overview
We are seeking a Python Data/Application Tester with strong experience in testing Python applications during their implementation and creation phases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in automation testing, ensuring that applications are robust, scalable, and meet quality standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can design, execute, and maintain automated test suites while collaborating closely with developers and product teams.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand application requirements and design effective test strategies.
Test Python applications during implementation and creation phases to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
Develop, maintain, and execute  automation test scripts  using Python-based frameworks (PyTest, unittest, etc.).
Validate APIs, data flows, and integrations across cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Identify, document, and track defects work with developers to resolve issues.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in applications involving data processing.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a  tester for Python applications  (involved in implementation/creation phases).
Strong knowledge of  automation testing frameworks  (PyTest, unittest, Selenium, Robot Framework).
Experience in testing APIs, web applications, and backend services.
Familiarity with  cloud environments  (AWS preferred).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to  data engineering projects  and validation of ETL/data pipelines.
Working knowledge of  front-end testing  and understanding of how websites function.
Familiarity with  streaming and batch processing frameworks  (Kafka, Spark, Flink).
Understanding of  Change Data Capture (CDC)  and  micro-batch processing  testing scenarios.
