Job Summary:
As an ITSM Presales Consultant for HCL Big Fix Service Management, you will be responsible for driving technical sales engagements by showcasing the capabilities of HCL’s ITSM Big Fix Service Management platform. You will work closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to understand customer requirements, design tailored ITSM solutions, and support the sales cycle with deep domain expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Consulting:
Understand client ITSM needs and map them to HCL Big Fix Service Management capabilities.
Create and present solution architectures, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
Customize presentations to address specific industry challenges and use cases.
Sales Support:
Collaborate with account managers and business development teams to strategize on opportunities.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical inputs and solution narratives.
Assist in pricing strategies and effort estimation for proposed solutions.
Product Expertise:
Maintain deep knowledge of HCL Big Fix Service Management modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
Stay updated on platform enhancements, integrations, and roadmap.
Provide feedback to product teams based on customer interactions.
Customer Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor during Presales engagements.
Conduct workshops, webinars, and technical sessions with prospects.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years of experience in ITSM presales or consulting roles.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.
Experience with similar platforms (Service Now, BMC Remedy, Manage Engine, Freshworks, etc.).
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Certifications:
ITIL Foundation or higher
Other relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 20000, PMP)
