About the Rol
e:
We are looking for an ITOM Discovery Specialist to support the implementation of HCL Big Fix Service Management – Discovery. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in IT infrastructure monitoring, network technologies, or IT operations who are interested in working on discovery and configuration management solution

Key Responsibilit
ies Support the implementation and configuration of ITOM Discovery solutions for infrastructure and application discove
ry.
Configure and manage discovery jobs, probes, sensors, and credentia
ls.
Assist in infrastructure and application topology mappi
ng.
Work with network, server, virtualization, and cloud teams to enable discovery across enterprise environmen
ts.
Conduct technical demonstrations, workshops, and customer discussio
ns.
Troubleshoot discovery issues and optimize discovery performan
ce.
Gather customer requirements and provide technical recommendations for discovery implementati
on.
Required Qualifications & Ski
lls4–8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, Monitoring, or ITOM domai
ns.
Hands-on experience wi th enterprise monitoring or infrastructure management tools such as Solar Winds, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, SCOM, Manage Engine OpManager, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Logic Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platfor
ms.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and load balance
rs.
Practical knowledge of infrastructure discovery protocols and technologies such as SNMP, SSH, WMI, WinRM, Power Shell, REST APIs, or agent-based discov e
ry.
Understanding of Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, storage, databases, and enterprise infrastructu
re.
Good troubleshooting and analytical skil
ls.
Strong communication and client-facing skil
ls.
