System Administrator​/KTLO Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to support day-to-day KTLO operations. You will ensure smooth functioning of essential reporting and monitoring systems. You will be the first line of ownership for critical reporting and monitoring systems — ensuring pipelines run reliably, data is validated, and stakeholders receive timely, accurate updates. This is an operations-heavy role that also involves ad hoc data tasks and rapid issue resolution.

Job Responsibilities:

- Trigger scheduled pipeline refreshes and monitor end-to-end execution across reporting and monitoring systems.
- Perform data validations on pipeline outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness before release.
- Send release emails to stakeholders upon successful completion of each refresh cycle.
- Identify, triage, and resolve issues that arise during pipeline runs — including data discrepancies, failures, and delays.
- Proactively monitor system health; escalate critical incidents and document resolutions.
- Support ad hoc data requests from business and analytics teams within agreed SLAs.

Requirements

- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Expert in ETL tools, Medallion Architecture and Data Lakes.
- Strong SQL skills; proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred) with Pyspark or Apache Spark.
- Experience working with cloud-based data pipelines (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Ability to independently debug large datasets and pipeline failures. Finding data quality issues and automating the concern areas is important.
- Good communication skills — ability to write clear, concise release and incident update emails.
- Comfortable working in a shift or on-call schedule if required.
- Prior experience in KTLO or operations support roles is a plus.
