Overview
The individual is responsible for enabling the sales function through solution preparation, tender documentation, and vendor coordination. This role demands strong vendor/OEM negotiation skills, excellent business communication, and rigorous data hygiene discipline across SAP, CRM, and MIS. The individual will act as a commercial-savvy execution partner, ensuring first-time-right submissions and professional representation of TAK in front of global partners and clients.

The job responsibilities includes:

Contribute technical expertise in Integrated Electronic Security domains including gate management, CCTV, perimeter fencing, and access control systems.
Apply networking knowledge to design, validate, and integrate solutions for customer requirements.
Handle end-to-end GeM (Government e-Marketplace) operations, including bid participation, catalogue management, product uploads, order processing, and compliance management. Monitor daily bid opportunities, corrigendum, reverse auctions, and tender status up dates.
Possess strong knowledge of clauses, tender terms & conditions, eligibility criteria, payment terms, penalties, bid qualification requirements and analyze tender risks.
Prepare solutions and technical/commercial documentation aligned to sales requirements.
Manage RFI/EOI/RFP responses, tender compilation, and proposal writing with accuracy, compliance and analyse tender risks.
Communicate and negotiate with vendors/OEMs (including international brands) to secure competitive inputs and terms.
Develop cost sheets, BoQ/BoM comparisons, and support pricing decisions using advanced Excel skills.
Maintain data accuracy and discipline in SAP/CRM for case updates, opportunity tracking, and MIS reporting.
Support site survey documentation, drawings, and solution design coordination with Engineering.
Provide clean and professional communication, emails, and documentation for client and vendor interactions.
Assist Sales and Presales leadership in improving win rate through superior submissions and vendor engagement.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Graduate in Engineering/Technology/Commerce or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in presales, tendering, and techno-commercial bidding.
Strong OEM/vendor coordination and commercial negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of GeM operations, bidding, RA, catalogue, and order processing.
Hands on Experience on various government portals such as Government e Marketplace, e-Procure – Central Public Procurement Portal, e-Tenders Portal, State eProcurement Portals, Railway e-Procurement System – IREPS, Defence eProcurement Portal, PSU Tender Portals (BECIL, ITI Limited, ECIL etc.).
Good understanding of tender clauses, GFR & DPM compliance and eligibility criteria.
Past working Experience in the tenders related to CCTV, Access Control, Gate Management, Perimeter Security, and Networking in addition Opto
- Electronics Product.
Ability to analyse bid failures and improve win ratio.
Excellent English communication and professional email writing skills.
Advanced Excel skills for costing, BoQ/BoM, compliance, and commercial analysis.
Hands-on experience in SAP/CRM/MIS systems.
Ability to manage accurate and timely tender submissions.
Strong coordination skills with Sales, Presales, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Professional, confident, and client-facing personality.
Ability to handle multiple tenders under deadlines.
Willingness to travel for meetings and site survey when required.
