Research Associate, Research Scientist, Drug Discovery

Position: Research Associate I
Synthesis Purification  :
Synthesize, purify, and characterize novel  chemical compounds  for drug discovery.
Chemical Reactions  :
Ensure safe conduct of reactions with a strong understanding of  organic chemistry  principles.
Multi-step Synthesis  :
Apply knowledge of  functional group conversion  and  multi-step synthesis  techniques.
Retrosynthetic Analysis  :
Basic knowledge of retrosynthetic analysis (desirable).
Analytical Skills  :
Analyze  NMR  ,  IR  , and  Mass Spectrometry  data with excellence.
Reaction Safety  :
Maintain strict adherence to safe lab practices.
Team Collaboration  :
Work collaboratively with colleagues to move chemistry projects forward.
Technical Expertise  :
Expertise in  TLC  ,  column purification  ,  extraction  , and handling  pyrophoric reactions  .
Lab Practices  :
Maintain safe and productive laboratory conditions.
Literature Search  :
Proficient in conducting literature searches using tools such as  Reaxys  .
Communication Skills  :
Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills.
Person Profile Qualifications  :
M.Sc.  in  Organic Chemistry  or a related field, or  M. Pharma  .
Experience  :
1-6 years  of experience in the  pharmaceutical or CRO  industry.
