Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Trading Manager to manage and optimize product visibility, ranking, and merchandising strategies on our retail e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with e-commerce search rules, product ranking logic, and trading levers to drive conversion, revenue, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage product ranking and search merchandising rules across the e-commerce website.
- Define and optimize search relevance strategies, including boosting, burying, pinning, and filtering of products.
- Work closely with AI/Search, Product, and Category teams to align business priorities with search algorithms.
- Manage on-site merchandising for campaigns, promotions, seasonal events, and new product launches.
- Analyze search and browse performance metrics (CTR, conversion, revenue, zero-result searches).
- Continuously optimize product assortment, availability, pricing, and content to improve discoverability.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain teams to ensure right products are surfaced at the right time.
- Conduct A/B tests on ranking strategies and trading rules to maximize commercial outcomes.
- Monitor competitor e-commerce platforms and recommend best practices.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working as an E-commerce Trading Manager / Digital Merchandiser / Search Merchandiser.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce search ranking rules and merchandising logic.
- Hands-on experience with search tools and platforms (e.g., Algolia, Elastic, Bloomreach, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or custom platforms).
- Solid knowledge of retail KPIs: conversion rate, average order value (AOV), revenue, search exit rate.
- Experience working with product catalogs, attributes, taxonomy, and tagging.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make commercial decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
