Account Manager - Trade Marketing (POSM)
A growth-focused role in the Marketing & Retail Merchandising sector supporting POSM (point-of-sale materials), retail activation and trade marketing programs across FMCG/CPG and retail brands in India. This is an on-site client-service position responsible for end-to-end POSM execution, vendor coordination and delivering retail ROI for national accounts.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage assigned client accounts for POSM and retail activation programs; serve as the primary client contact for briefs, timelines and delivery expectations.
Create and own POSM briefs, production schedules and rollout plans; coordinate design, prototyping, approvals and final print/manufacture cycles.
Source, onboard and manage vendors and logistics partners; negotiate costs, SLAs and ensure timely deliveries to depot and store levels.
Drive on-ground quality assurance and store rollout checks; resolve production defects and ensure compliance with brand standards.
Track project budgets, raise purchase orders and support invoicing; maintain accurate project P&L and cost-reporting dashboards.
Prepare regular performance reports and client presentations demonstrating campaign delivery, activation metrics and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications (role-specific)
3+ years experience in client servicing, trade marketing or retail merchandising (FMCG/CPG/retail preferred).
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and client decks.
Comfortable working on-site across client and vendor locations in India.
