Plumbing Operations Manager

Paulson Cheek Mechanical is seeking an experienced Operations Manager of Plumbing Construction to join our growing team. This senior-level position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plumbing construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery. The Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and the ability to partner effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

The Director will also serve as a key contributor to business growth by driving operational excellence and building strong client and team relationships.

• Oversee all phases of plumbing construction projects, including planning, budgeting, design coordination, procurement, and installation.
• Lead and mentor project managers, site managers, and plumbing teams to ensure performance and efficiency.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and keep projects within financial guidelines.
• Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project delivery.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, senior leadership, and project stakeholders.
• Review and monitor WIP (Work in Progress) reports weekly, track KPIs, and act as a strategic partner to the President.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and support business development efforts through strong client and industry relationships.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial plumbing construction management.
• Proven ability to oversee complex plumbing projects across multiple industries.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a record of building high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
