Supplier Quality Assurance Manager

• Audit and feasibility ranking of external suppliers worldwide.
• Prepare the information for the decision-making process in the sourcing board

• Manage new supplier implementation and supplier transfer with respect to quality for DEUTZ Corporation and DEUTZ AG
• Negotiate and finalize the quality agreement
• Create Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Action definition and follow-up.
• Manage and handle the necessities of and around the Production Paft
• Approval Process (PPAP)
• KPI management for supplier related Quality metrics

• Participate and represent the supplier quality in specific project team meetings
• Manage the PPAP overview per project and coordinating between the suppliers and the related DEUTZ departments the achieving of the PPAP approval

• Support the teamwork in the cross-functional team responsibilities to reduce the overall failure rate and improve failure prevention.
• Lead failure-solving process for supplier-caused defects.
• Global alignment with DEUTZ AG Supplier Quality team.

• Travel in North America, including Mexico, up to approximately twenty-five percent (25%) depending on business needs.

• U.S. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• 60 months of work experience in Quality Assurance, e.g. as Supplier Quality Engineer; and
• At least, 12 months of experience with (i) leading project feasibility discussions from a financial and quality standpoint; (ii) developing business cases for projects relating to external suppliers; (iii) Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); (iv) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP); and (v) IATF 16949:2016.

8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.
