CMT Project Engineer; Project Manager

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is hiring a Construction Materials Testing Project Manager (Engineer) in Norcross, GA
. This person will help with writing proposals, scheduling field staff, client interactions, project management/review of field reports, and will also work in the field performing inspections as needed. NOVA will also provide a company truck with fuel card, laptop, cell phone, certification incentive program, and many more perks.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Project coordination and project management of Construction Materials Testing (CMT), inspections, and transportation projects.
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Preparation of client proposals and report preparation
• Providing oversight of field staff
• Project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & report review for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, transportation, and residential projects
• Performing bridge and roadway inspections
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited College/University
• 4+ years applicable experience field experience inspecting Commercial buildings or transportation projects
• Experienced testing and inspecting soils, foundations, rebar, pavements, asphalt, concrete, and other construction materials
• Option 1: EIT with Project Management Experience and multiple GDOT certifications
• Option 2: P.E. with CMT and/or transportation experience
• Strong communication skills are a must
