Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

Location: Norcross, GA

Salary: Low to mid $50,000s, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Norcross, GA. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with lots of room for growth and advancement. The successful candidate will apply their engineering knowledge in a hands-on environment, working on a variety of projects to design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations for engineering solutions.
  • Support the creation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Participate in testing and validation processes to ensure mechanical systems and components perform as intended.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management, to support project goals and timelines.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to mechanical systems and components.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance in all engineering activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and mechanical design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for creating detailed mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex engineering challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
