Senior Staff Consultant - Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and direct field investigations of incidents involving electrical issues (fires, equipment malfunctions/misuse, etc.).
• Perform engineering analysis of electrical incidents.
• Author high‑quality technical reports.
• Deliver well‑developed client presentations.
• Testify in court or provide depositions as requested by clients.
• Establish work plans and staffing for each project phase, and assign project personnel.
• Coordinate project schedules and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve problems for project staff.
• Seek advisement from senior consultants when needed.
• Coordinate proper internal technical reviews.
• Collaborate with Business Development to identify potential clients and growth strategies.
• Participate actively in client meetings, presentations, and industry conferences.
• Mentor early‑career employees in professional growth.
• Pursue continuous professional development.

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• MS or Ph.D. preferred.

• 4–7 years of work experience in forensic consulting or an industry consulting role.
• Authoring of high‑quality technical reports and/or peer‑reviewed publications.
• Preferred experience in the consulting industry.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and develop business.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.

• PE Licence preferred.
• CFEI or CFI Certification preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Experience with Windows operating system highly preferred.
• Intermediate skills in graphics, web browsers, and database programs.
