Job Summary
Design Project Manager role at EMCOR Group, Inc. responsible for managing design and execution of construction projects across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
Responsibilities- Lead design and documentation of mechanical, electrical, P&, and fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, Hydra
CAD, and BIM models. - Read and interpret contractual drawings, specifications, and codes (IPC, AFC, NFPA, and local ordinances).
- Coordinate cross‑discipline deliveries, present design solutions to clients, owners, and construction teams.
- Develop hydraulic calculations, cost analysis, and fabrication lists for fire protection systems.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control throughout design phase.
- Associate or technical degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience designing mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or MEP systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Hydra
CAD, BIM software, and hydraulic calculation tools. - Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
- Strong communicator, self‑motivated, and organized with attention to detail.
- NICET certification preferred.
