The Loan Activation Specialist will gather all loan documentation needed to ensure the loan package has met the established underwriting guidelines. To mitigate risk, the Loan Activation Specialist will communicate with internal staff, brokers, and insurance companies and carefully review all documents received. Additionally, the Loan Activation Specialist will review all documentation obtained to ensure that it corresponds directly with the industry specific software in which the quote was generated.
Will protect the company’s collateral by reviewing, verifying and processing premium finance agreements for funding, consistent with corporate policy and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
- Analyzes incoming loan documentation to ensure satisfaction of company underwriting guidelines.
- Obtains and/or provides any missing information to complete required file documentation.
- Meets processing time frames (within 48 hours of receiving signed PFA).
- Works across departmental lines to handle requests from clients and carriers for policy changes and underwriting information.
- Communicates any necessary exceptions/incomplete files to credit department for review.
- Activates loans in Finance Pro.
- Prepares summary of daily fundings for review by quality control department.
- Maintains open communication with team members and operations managers.
- Attends and participates in all required processing training and meetings.
- Provides a high level of processing support to inexperienced Loan Activation Specialists requiring additional assistance on high volume of complex files.

- 2 years of experience in document processing role.
- Premium finance and/or commercial P&C experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success working in and supporting clients in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must have demonstrated PC proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- College degree required.
