Part time Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding (24 hours per week)

Pharmacy Technician prepares compounded sterile products and performs related activities under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities- Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures.
- Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
- Assists in setting up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions.
- Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
- Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
- Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
- Assists in training/mentoring of new IV Technicians as assigned.
Schedule:
9am–5:30pm, weekdays and alternating weekends (24 hours per week).
Salary range: $18.00–$23.00/hr.
- High school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent required.
- 0–2 years related experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification required.
- Regular and predictable on‑site attendance.
- cGMP training/experience desired; training will be provided.
- Aseptic processing training/experience desired; training will be provided.
- Moderate work: exert up to 40 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Requires standing, walking, and occasional reaching overhead.
- Work environment may include moderate noise intensity; exposure to chemicals in some areas.
