Computer Field Service Technician

Title: Computer Field Technician

Location: Norcross, GA

Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

• Support PLS calls such as Dell Client Transformation Services, installing and servicing PCs, peripherals, and electronic equipment.
• Handle service calls and perform incident-specific activities as directed by Help Desk or Service Desk, following scripts.
• Perform routine installs, moves, adds, and changes as part of a team, including complex desktop and laptop repairs, whole unit replacements, and software loading via scripts.

The candidate will be responsible for handling PC hardware break-fix calls at various locations. Reliable transportation is required. The candidate must pass drug and background screenings and complete required product training.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in DELL Desktop PC support and installation
• A+ Certification

This role involves driving to various locations. Personal vehicle is required, with mileage reimbursement at 0.58 cents per mile for the first 225 miles weekly, and 0.26 cents per mile thereafter. Dell certifications are provided free of cost.
