Position SummaryThe Director of Global Business Intelligence will lead the development and execution of global marketing intelligence strategies to drive data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data, competitive insights, and customer trends to inform strategic marketing initiatives and optimize global campaigns. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and guide global marketing efforts.
Hybrid role located at our Norcross, GA Corporate Office.
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing intelligence, analytics, or strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the optical fiber and connectivity solutions industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of leveraging data to drive global marketing strategies.
- Expertise in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics) and CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of global markets and cultural nuances.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive results in a matrix organization.
- Develop and implement a global business intelligence framework aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with regional marketing teams to ensure consistent data‑driven strategies across markets.
- Monitor mega trends, global market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Deliver actionable insights to support product positioning, pricing strategies, product developments and go‑to‑market plans.
- Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of data from multiple sources (CRM, social media, market research, etc.).
- Participate in international conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and other events to gather market information and build connections with external parties.
- Create dashboards and reports for executive leadership to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead global customer segmentation and behavioral analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Translate insights into targeted marketing strategies and personalized campaigns.
- Participate in customer visits or quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to gather firsthand market intelligence.
- Work closely with Product, Sales, R&D, and Finance teams to align intelligence with business priorities.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and global stakeholders.
