Overview

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for using analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes by assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support SCM planning and operations. The analyst will develop data management tools to mine data, organize data and present data to enhance the decision making for supply chain personnel.

Success will be measured by the Analyst ability to provide the supply chain team with what is needed to make better decisions and manage all levels of inventory in the most efficient and cost effective manner. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected within accepted supply chain practices.

Responsibilities
  • Study the movement of goods through a supply chain in order to identify gaps in efficiency and other areas needing improvement.
  • Analyze data and apply project management methodology to develop recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Document and monitor supply/demand requirements and report performance to those plans through use of Planning systems and Excel.
  • Develop manual and ERP system based decision making tools and business processes.
  • Build and develop relationships with internal team members and stakeholders to ensure supply chain strategies support overall corporate objectives while meeting customer requirements.
  • Engage area experts to expedite activities, when necessary, to maintain service levels optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensures that work is complete, accurate, and reliable. Spreadsheets and other analytical materials contain minimal errors.
  • Provide support and analysis to Operations group for project management with the objective of maintaining supply continuity.
  • Continuously improve and automate planning and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain KPI and SIOP data gathering and reporting metrics.
  • Build decks and dashboards and fully support site and Executive SIOP meetings.
  • Demonstrate Werfen Values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Achievement.
Additional Responsibilities Include
  • The Analyst will be a integral part of the Werfen SIOP process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • BS/BA in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, or equivalent, preferred.
  • The candidate must be fully versed in technical supply chain skills of demand forecasting, inventory management, master production scheduling, logistics, and related decision support tools in make-to-stock- and build-to-order businesses.
