Position

Housekeeper – The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning of the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. The Housekeeper is also responsible for cleaning make-ready units in a manner consistent with the property’s operational objectives under the supervision of the Community Manager prior to move-in.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Community housekeeping
  • Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
  • General cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
  • Cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
  • Cleaning and upkeep of the community’s offices, amenities, etc. on a daily basis
  • Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
  • Understand and follow Asset key policy
  • Report observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
  • Utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the Community Manager
  • Customer & Resident Relations:
    Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
  • Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
  • Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
  • Enforce policies of the community as delegated by the immediate supervisor
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and other tasks; move in various positions to accomplish tasks in different environments
  • Lift and place objects up to 25 lbs; may work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies); exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Occasionally work in overhead positions and reach or move objects up to 25 lbs; operate machinery and power tools; operate motor vehicles; work in extreme temperatures and outdoor environments; work in small or enclosed spaces

Our employment offer includes additional compensation associated with our comprehensive total rewards package, which includes benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance), 401K with employer matching, and commission and performance bonuses where applicable.

Full-time employees also receive paid sick days and company holidays.

Salary Range
: $13.00 per hour to $16.00 per hour
