Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager – Transdev North America – Norcross, GA

Oversee the daily operations of mechanics, bus washers, utility workers and administrative staff, ensuring maintenance on equipment meets DOT, client and company standards across a three‑shift facility.

• Hire, train and schedule Maintenance Technicians
• Approve priority of maintenance and repairs based on material availability and operational requirements
• Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside vendors
• Ensure company and client equipment is maintained and operating efficiently
• Manage inventory
• Implement safety policies and procedures per corporate requirements
• Participate in the development and administration of the operational budget
• Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods
• Other duties as required

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with passenger and airbrake endorsements preferred
• 7+ years’ experience in repair and maintenance of heavy‑duty automotive and transit equipment
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Broad understanding of all mechanical systems related to heavy‑duty transportation vehicles
• Familiarity with laws & regulations associated with safe operation of maintenance facilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Availability to work shifts and flexible work schedules as needed
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs such as cannabis

• Competitive compensation: $90,000 – $111,000
• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days (8 standard, 4 floating)
