JOB DESCRIPTION

A partner of Insight Global is looking to add a Process Engineering Technician to their team. The Process Engineering Technician is responsible for real-time monitoring of solar cell manufacturing processes to ensure stability, yield, and quality. Working 12-hour shifts, this role serves as the first line of technical support for process-related issues on the production floor. The technician will assist engineers in identifying trends, investigating abnormalities, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain high product quality.

Shift

& Schedule
  • 4 Openings : 2 day shift & 2 night shift
  • Day Shift: 7am-7pm Night Shift : 7pm-7am
  • 24/7 facility:
    They practice a 2,2,3 rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 days off etc)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Technology; or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor, solar, or similar industry.
  • Working knowledge of process control concepts, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interpret basic process flow diagrams, standard operating conditions, and inspection criteria.
  • Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and on 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Familiarity with SPC tools, MES, or yield monitoring dashboards is preferred.
