Production Lead

The Production Lead is responsible for coordinating the activities of associates and resources and ensure that kit production process is done safely and efficiently.

• Promptly and accurately process production jobs from start to completion
• Dispense buffers and pack kits by following good laboratory practices
• Train new and current production associates on production processes
• Responsible for verification sign off on production job sheets
• Enforce the associates to follow SOP’s
• Operate a variety of basic production equipment
• Follow company, industry, state, federal safety standards
• Follow established company SOP and ISO quality and environmental management systems related requirements

• Able to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions while following ergonomic best practices to minimize strain
• Able to obtain respirator certification upon hire
• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in one of the biological or physical sciences or related fields
• 1‑2 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment or similar experience
• Experience working with an ERP system
