Description

Responsible for performing pre and post-analytical sample processing. Maintain knowledge of all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required to perform effectively. Maintain excellent communication with the Department and other Laboratory Services personnel.

Primary Duties

• Sample accessibility research in HALO system
• Manual sample processing
• Sample send outs
• SATR
• P512 operation
• Box receipt
• Sample sorting
• Operate IDETIC (as assigned)
• Sample investigation
• Disposal of biohazard materials

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

• Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.

Preferred Education

• Prefer sixty (60) hours from an accredited college or university or Associate Degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Experience

• Prefer one or more years of laboratory experience

Shifts:

• Sunday
  - Tuesday with a rotational Wednesday | 9am-9:30pm
• Thursday
  - Saturday with a rotational Wednesday | 9am-9:30pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
