Customer Serv​/Warehouse Associate

Overview

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a CSR/Warehouse Associate located in Norcross, GA. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the CSR/Warehouse Associate will support day-to-day sales activities of the branch.

• Provide clients with an unsurpassed level of customer service, expertise, and convenience throughout the sales and completion process.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Answer phones and greet clients in the customer service area.
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately; ensure orders have proper status codes.
• Maintain open order/quote reports and follow up on backorders; communicate order status and ETAs to customers.
• Coordinate with outside sales reps and managers; back up to other positions within the department as needed.
• Resolve customer problems with urgency and accuracy; communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Schedule deliveries and reminder calls to customers; complete projects as delegated by the supervisor.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area and environment; back up inventory control tasks as needed.
• Scan paperwork into Imaging (POs, receivers, PODs); follow quality service standards and procedures.
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately and timely; organize stock and rotate inventory as necessary.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments; restock shelves by forklift, ladders, or by hand.
• Maintain general computer proficiency; perform cycle counts; adapt to new tasks and responsibilities; work with minimal supervision.
• Take initiative and solve problems related to shipments and orders; ensure proper inventory documentation.
• Commit to safety and hygiene regulations and maintain a strong sense of urgency.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Forklift certification or ability to train to obtain it.
• High school diploma or equivalent; distribution environment experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to relate to a wide variety of customers.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills; self-driven with high energy and enthusiasm.
• Excellent customer-focused selling abilities and follow-through.
• Good math skills, including ability to take accurate measurements; proficient with Windows-based applications.
• Ability to perform well in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment.

• Frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions (hot and cold).
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 50–75 pounds.
• Occasional outdoor work; think analytically, make decisions, develop options, and implement solutions.
• Maintain regular attendance; multitask, communicate effectively, and work with a sense of urgency.
