Position: New Truck Sales Representative

New Truck Sales Representative

Peach State Truck Centers – Atlanta, GA – Salary $50,000–$125,000

Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement – interact with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and preferences for Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks.
  • Sales Process Management – guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to finalizing the sale, including test drives and financing options.
  • Product Expertise – maintain in-depth knowledge of the specifications, features, and benefits of Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks.
  • Market Analysis – stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to provide relevant recommendations.
  • Documentation – handle all necessary paperwork for vehicle sales, including contracts, warranties, and financing agreements.
  • Relationship Building – develop and maintain strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Sales Targets – achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the dealership or company.
  • After‑Sales Support – provide ongoing support post‑sale to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
Qualifications
  • Sales Experience – previous experience in sales, particularly in commercial vehicle industry.
  • Communication Skills – excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service – strong customer service skills to ensure a positive buying experience.
  • Technical Knowledge – comprehensive understanding of truck specifications and ability to explain technical details.
  • Negotiation Skills – ability to negotiate prices and financing terms to close sales.
  • Organizational Skills – strong organizational skills to manage multiple customers and sales processes simultaneously.
  • Licenses/Certifications – may require a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or other relevant certifications.
  • Sales Certification – Freightliner LLC certification on all products the company represents.
