Operations Supervisor, DTS

Ascends Operations Supervisor accurately completes all assigned clerical duties to aid and support the operations.

• Accurately enter all load information for assigned group
• Ensure that all information is entered in a timely manner
• Process all paperwork from customer receipt to close out and imaging
• Ensure all drivers are dispatched in TMS, and drivers are utilizing work flow.
• Monitor HOS via Peoplenet.
• Provide customers with exceptional customer service
• Follow and adhere to customer logistics process

• Previous experience in or knowledge of the transportation industry a minimum of two years.

• Ability to manage others and self.

• Computer based keyboard skills and ability to learn software systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to exercise independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships (to help produce the right results).
• Ability to effectively plan to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
• Ability to coach drivers on key areas of needed improvement.

• High School Diploma or GED
