Facilities Maintenance Role

Help maintain Norfolk County’s parks and facilities to create welcoming community spaces. As a Facilities Maintenance team member, your focus will include essential operational and maintenance duties across multiple types of public venues.

This temporary full-time position in Delhi involves tasks from ice maintenance in arenas to general repairs in libraries and museums. Your hands-on approach to facility upkeep supports the County’s commitment to vibrant, well-serviced community spaces. Working in various locations, your role ensures clean and safe environments for residents to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain municipal facilities

• Carry out seasonal maintenance tasks and inspections

• Operate backhoe and conduct grave site preparations

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks

• Follow safety protocols in all procedures

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or GED completion necessary

• At least two years of related experience

• Basic refrigeration certification preferred

• Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license

• Flexible with working hours across various sites
