Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GAAP and at least one year of relevant accounting experience. This position will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close and reporting activities.

• Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain and organize accounting documentation for audits and compliance.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience applying GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
