Position Summary
Haz Mat Industrial Services Operator Driver/Technician will transport various waste streams at generator sites, performing clean‑up of industrial waste safely and efficiently, in compliance with regulations. Operate trucks for bulk and containerized hazardous and non‑hazardous wastes, and respond to spill clean‑ups.
Principal Responsibilities- Operate light and heavy equipment (tanker, roll‑off, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, tractor trailers, skid steers, forklifts, pumps, pallet‑jack)
- Respond to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip DOT inspections
- Maintain vehicle logs and documentation of manifests and work orders
- Perform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance at sites
- Conduct LTL pickups and full truck loads
- Maintain company equipment and ensure customer satisfaction
- Process hazardous and non‑hazardous materials as needed
- Assist with field service projects and industrial service projects
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Experience operating heavy and light equipment (tanker, vacuum truck, forklift, pallet‑jack); skilled with hand, shop tools, instruments; accurate, thorough, detail‑oriented; capable of prioritizing multiple responsibilities
- Haz Mat endorsement preferred
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Ability to pass 40‑hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire
$25.16 – $37.74
