State of Nebraska's Norfolk Veterans Home is launching a C.N.A training class to prepare Staff Care Technician I and II incumbents. The program runs November 2–20, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with testing for certification upon completion.
After graduation, positions offer 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. shifts with every other weekend rotation;
Tech I pays $17.938/h plus $3 diff (~$20.938/h), Tech II pays $21.625/h plus $3 diff (~$24.625/h) for progression after certification.
