Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) and be part of a team that helps families discover the joy of everyday life. As a Guest Advocate, you will create a welcoming experience for guests, solve their needs, and make shopping quick and easy.

Starting Hourly Rate: $15.50 USD per hour

This role is ideal for those who want a personalized work schedule. You can work as much or as little as you like, and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs.

As an On-Demand Team Member, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
• Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features and offerings within the Target App

• Communicate effectively and be attentive to guests' needs
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Attention to detail while multi-tasking
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
