Norfolk Iron & Metal is seeking a motivated Assistant Supervisor to help lead our night shift processing team. This position works alongside the Supervisor to support employees, drive productivity, maintain quality standards, and promote a safe, positive work environment.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to employees
• Help achieve production, quality, and safety goals
• Communicate expectations and company policies
• Assist with employee training and development
• Promote teamwork across departments and shifts
• Support continuous improvement and error reduction
• Encourage a culture aligned with NIM's values

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude

High School or better.

Familiar with warehouse operations &/or working with steel.
