Farnham area | Up to £38,000 basic | Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm

An established independent automotive workshop in the Farnham area is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join its team and play a key role in keeping the workshop running smoothly.

Working closely with the Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for sourcing and managing the parts required by the technicians — making sure the right parts are ordered, received and available when needed.

This is a workshop-focused role, so there's no requirement to deal with retail customers or work on a busy parts counter. It's a great opportunity for someone with solid automotive parts experience who enjoys working behind the scenes and being an important part of a close-knit workshop team.

• Identify and order the correct parts from vehicle/part information provided
• Liaise with main dealers, motor factors and other suppliers
• Receive and check incoming parts and deliveries
• Manage parts returns and credits
• Ensure parts are available for the workshop when required
• Work closely with the Workshop Controller and technicians
• Keep parts ordering organised and efficient
• Help minimise delays and ensure the workshop has everything it needs to operate effectively

We're looking for someone with previous automotive parts experience who understands the importance of accuracy, organisation and getting the right part first time.

• Previous experience in an automotive Parts Advisor / Parts role
• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and terminology
• Experience ordering parts from dealers and motor factors
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work independently while being part of a small team
• A proactive approach and a genuine interest in keeping the workshop moving

• Up to £38,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm
• 20 days' holiday + bank holidays
• Stable, workshop-based environment
