Sports Lecturer – Long-term temporary cover starting January 2026 and ongoing

Duties as Sports Lecturer:
Deliver high-quality lessons for BTEC Level 3 Sports courses
Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work and lesson resources
Assess, record, and report on learner progress in line with college policies
Provide constructive feedback to support learner development
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Contribute to departmental meetings and curriculum planning
Support learners with career progression and employability skills

Ideal Sports Lecturer:
Experience delivering BTEC Level 3 Sports courses is essential
Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience
Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire learners
Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage learners effectively
