The grammar school was founded in 1451 and there are indications of the presence of a school even before then.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver consistently high-quality teaching and ensure strong pupil achievement and progress

* Provide meaningful feedback and set high-quality homework in line with school policies

* Maintain excellent classroom displays and contribute to departmental and whole-school initiatives

* Support pupils’ learning through effective collaboration with learning support assistants

* Deliver schemes of work and provide regular reports on pupil progress

* Act as a form tutor when required, promoting high standards of behaviour

* Participate positively in school meetings, extracurricular activities, trips, and events
