About this RoleWe are looking to appoint a Head of Modern Languages to join our highly motivated and talented team at Sheringham High School. You will:
- Be an inspirational leader with a track record of ensuring excellent results throughout the age and ability range
- Bring visible enthusiasm and advocacy for languages, creating memorable experiences beyond the classroom that inspire students to develop confidence, curiosity and a lasting passion for language learning
- Be able to teach French GCSE. The ability to teach German GCSE is also desirable, but other languages will be considered
- Be highly organised, and passionate about ensuring excellence for all in teaching, learning and achievement
- Be aspirational about your own professional development and have excellent communication and motivational skills
- Be committed to providing the best possible opportunities for all our young people
- Support and challenge from a high performing leadership team and a supportive Governing Body
- The scope to be creative and innovative in developing approaches to teaching, learning and the curriculum
