About this Role

We are looking to appoint a Head of Modern Languages to join our highly motivated and talented team at Sheringham High School. Situated on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, we are proud to be part of the community and have a hardworking staff united in their belief that only the best is good enough for our young people. You will:

  • Be an inspirational leader with a track record of ensuring excellent results throughout the age and ability range
  • Bring visible enthusiasm and advocacy for languages, creating memorable experiences beyond the classroom that inspire students to develop confidence, curiosity and a lasting passion for language learning
  • Be able to teach French GCSE. The ability to teach German GCSE is also desirable, but other languages will be considered
  • Be highly organised, and passionate about ensuring excellence for all in teaching, learning and achievement
  • Be aspirational about your own professional development and have excellent communication and motivational skills
  • Be committed to providing the best possible opportunities for all our young people
