We are recruiting an Engineering Stores Coordinator to look after engineering spares, stock control, and related systems at a manufacturing site in Norfolk.
This role focuses on the effective control of engineering spares, inventory, and asset data, supporting planned maintenance activities and wider engineering performance. You will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning teams to ensure the right parts are available at the right time, systems are kept accurate, and spend is controlled.
The role supports the engineering team in achieving high levels of equipment availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day coordination of the Engineering Stores, including receipt, storage, issue, and control of parts
Maintaining accurate inventory and asset records within maintenance and asset management systems
Supporting planned maintenance activities through effective spares and data control
Managing engineering spares, including critical spares and obsolescence
Raising purchase orders in line with agreed budgets and approval processes
Monitoring spend and escalating potential overspends where required
Supporting workplace organisation and housekeeping standards within engineering areas
Working closely with Engineering and Planning teams to support maintenance scheduling
Supporting audit and compliance requirement
About You:
Ideally experienced in engineering stores, maintenance inventory, or a similar role
Candidates from manufacturing or technical warehouse backgrounds will be considered
Confident working with inventory or asset management systems
Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing data accuracy
Able to work to budgets and follow purchasing and approval processes
Clear communicator, comfortable working with engineers and operational teams
Skills & Experience:
Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Exposure to stores, spares, inventory, or asset management
IT literate, including Microsoft Office
Experience with workplace organisation / 5S beneficial
