An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Advisor to join a leading organisation specialising in Major Civil Engineering projects.
They’re known for delivering technically complex ground engineering and major infrastructure projects across the UK. The business combines global expertise with strong local delivery and has a track record of working on high-profile schemes in energy, transport, and marine sectors.
As an Environmental Advisor you will play a key role in supporting a significant, high-profile Civil Engineering project that utilises unique construction methods never seen before here in the UK ensuring compliance, driving sustainability initiatives, and protecting the unique coastal and marine environment.
Environmental Advisor – £40,000-£47,500 + £4,700 Car Allowance + 15% Project Uplift + 15% Pension + Package - Civil Engineering – East Anglia– : (phone number removed)

Key responsibilities include:
Providing expert environmental advice on ecology, pollution prevention, and sustainability.
Developing and implementing environmental management and sustainability plans.
Managing permits and licences, including MMO and ecology mitigation.
Carrying out audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Delivering toolbox talks, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Supporting innovation in marine and civil engineering methods.
What we’re looking for
NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (Minimum) Degree in Environmental Science/Management/Engineering (Ideally).
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and practical compliance.
Hands-on experience in construction or infrastructure projects (marine experience highly desirable).
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
