We are working in partnership with a leading automotive engineering and manufacturing client based in Norfolk, who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of key programmes across their engineering function.

This is a long term contract opportunity focused on driving projects from concept through to delivery within a fast-paced, highly technical automotive environment.

What You’ll Do
Lead the end-to-end delivery of automotive engineering projects, from initiation through to completion
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, timing, and budget requirements
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required
Track and report on project progress, performance metrics, and milestones to key stakeholders
Ensure effective communication across internal teams and external partners
Support programme governance activities including documentation, reporting, and stakeholder reviews
Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and methodologies

What You’ll Bring Essential:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the engineering sector
Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery within a manufacturing environment
Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g. MS Project or equivalent)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP)
Experience working within OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or high-performance automotive environments
Exposure to NPI (New Product Introduction) or vehicle programme delivery
Familiarity with ERP or PLM systems
