Healthcare Management
We are recruiting for an AHP Lead to join our newly established AHP leadership team, working within an innovative matrix model that combines locality-based leadership with a Trust-wide professional focus.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional to influence the future direction of services across Norfolk and Suffolk. As an AHP Lead, you will play a key role in strengthening the contribution of AHPs to service delivery, workforce development and transformation programmes, helping to improve outcomes for the populations we serve.
Working as part of a newly established leadership structure comprising four Principal AHPs and six AHP Leads, you will contribute to the strategic and professional leadership of the Trust's AHP workforce. You will support the development of sustainable services, promote innovation and quality improvement, and ensure AHP expertise shapes organisational priorities, clinical strategy and future models of care.
As an AHP Lead, you will have an opportunity to influence change at both a locality and Trust-wide level, supporting our ambition to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while addressing health inequalities and improving population health outcomes.
As the AHP Lead for West Norfolk, you will provide professional leadership and support to Allied Health Professionals across the locality, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, professional governance and workforce development. You will work in partnership with locality leaders to support operational delivery, service performance and continuous improvement across a diverse range of services.
Working closely with fellow AHP Leads, Principal AHPs and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will help develop and deliver professional priorities across the Trust, sharing learning and promoting consistency in standards, practice and outcomes. You will support the implementation of strategic initiatives, contribute to service redesign and ensure AHP perspectives are represented in decision-making forums.
The role includes developing and supporting the AHP workforce through professional leadership, education, succession planning and the promotion of continuous professional development. You will champion a culture of learning, innovation and quality improvement, supporting teams to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.
You will also work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider health and care system to strengthen partnerships, improve integration and support programmes that address population health needs and reduce health inequalities across West Norfolk and the wider Trust footprint.
Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.
Why work for us? We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established professional networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.
Why Norfolk and Suffolk? The people here are warm and welcoming, you’ll never be far from the beautiful coastline or Broads National Park. We’re an hour and a half away from London and have an international airport in Norwich too. Our villages, towns and cities are packed full of history, independent cafes, shops and theatres. We have excellent shopping, eating out, top ranking schooling and affordable house prices too.
