Insurance Executive

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and enjoyable team based in Newcastle and working on a flexible hybrid basis. We have worked with this quality insurance brokerage for many years and the feedback from candidates has been 100% positive. In this role you will be joining the “New Business” team, dealing with incoming commercial insurance enquires across most classes of business, premiums generally up to £15k, and with some large mid-market cases including professional risks (PI, D&O, cyber etc).

Our client has a large number of high quality leads incoming from various longstanding partnership agreements. Day to day, you will be speaking to potential new clients, building relationships, taking risk information from clients, marketing risks and negotiating with insurers. You will be using Acturius system to keep accurate client information. Ideal applicants will have previous commercial insurance experience, preferably gained within an insurance broker environment, however, we will also be happy to hear from commercial underwriters wanting to move across into broking.

It is vital that you enjoy speaking to clients and happy to work in a relatively relaxed new business environment. This role comes with a salary up to circa £33k and with an excellent commission structure which could earn you an additional £4k – £8k annually  an excellent benefits package, which includes a good level of pension contribution and a generous holiday allowance (plus a whole range of other benefits).
