Corporate Insurance Broker

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected insurance brokerage conveniently located in Leeds City Centre. This would be a perfect role for those experienced brokers looking to move away from the unpredictable private equity backed broker market and join a truly independent business where you can really make a difference. This brand new role has been created due to an internal promotion.

Ideal applicants will have at least 5 years relevant commercial / corporate insurance broking experience; this is a dual role handling your own client portfolio as well as supporting the Account Executives. Day to day, you will be handling all broking activity, preparing renewal documentation, negotiating with your insurer contacts (composite and Lloyds markets) and having regular communication with your clients.

You will be dealing with mid-market to corporate risks, with the opportunity to become involved in global insurance programmes. You will be a strong and confident communicator with a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, with great attention to detail and presentation and with good IT skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Progress towards CII studies would be beneficial and will be fully supported.

This role comes with a generous basic salary, up to circa £50k per annum dependent on experience and with a full and comprehensive benefits package and flexible hybrid working. This client operates as a meritocracy and is well known for promoting from within.
